Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Project Red String.

By using Project Red String, you represent and warrant that:

• ·You are at least 18 years old.
• ·You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• ·You are not prohibited by applicable law from using the service.
• ·You will provide materially accurate information about yourself.
• ·You will use Project Red String only for lawful purposes.

Project Red String may request information or take reasonable steps to verify eligibility, identity, or account authenticity.

We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe the user is under 18 or otherwise ineligible to use the service.

Project Red String provides tools intended to help adults discover and communicate with potential connections.

We do not guarantee:

• ·That you will receive matches or connections.
• ·That another user will respond to you.
• ·That compatibility results will accurately predict attraction or relationship success.
• ·That information supplied by another user is complete or accurate.
• ·That another user is compatible with you in real life.
• ·That another user is safe, trustworthy, or free from harmful intent.

You are responsible for deciding whether, when, and how to communicate with or meet another user.

Project Red String may analyze user-supplied information to generate compatibility information, observations, or classifications.

These may include terms such as:

• ·Red String
• ·Thread
• ·Anomaly
• ·Friction
• ·Connection Blocked
• ·Other compatibility or discovery classifications introduced by the service

Compatibility may consider reciprocal preferences, relationship goals, lifestyle preferences, boundaries, communication styles, curiosity, Rabbit Hole interests, and other information supplied by users.

These classifications are features of the Project Red String service.

They are not medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, scientific, legal, financial, or other professional assessments.

A compatibility classification does not guarantee:

• ·Attraction
• ·Safety
• ·Honesty
• ·Relationship quality
• ·Relationship longevity
• ·Successful communication
• ·Agreement
• ·Compatibility outside the factors evaluated by the service

Project Red String should be used as a discovery tool, not as a substitute for your own judgment.

Project Red String includes topics we call “Rabbit Holes.”

A user’s selection of a Rabbit Hole may indicate curiosity, interest, willingness to discuss the topic, or another response requested by the service.

Interest in a Rabbit Hole does not necessarily mean that a user believes any particular claim, theory, explanation, or conclusion.

Project Red String does not endorse, verify, certify, or establish the truth of claims discussed by users or included as Rabbit Hole topics.

Users are responsible for evaluating information they encounter and for communicating respectfully with others who may hold different views.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

You agree to:

• ·Provide materially accurate account information.
• ·Keep account information reasonably current.
• ·Maintain only accounts you are authorized to use.
• ·Protect your login credentials.
• ·Notify us if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
• ·Accept responsibility for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by law.

You may not impersonate another person or create an account intended to mislead users about your identity.

We may restrict duplicate, fraudulent, deceptive, automated, or otherwise abusive accounts.

Project Red String depends on users providing honest information.

You may not intentionally and materially misrepresent matters such as:

• ·Your identity
• ·Your age
• ·Your photographs
• ·Your relationship intentions
• ·Your gender or dating preferences for purposes of deception
• ·Your location for purposes of misleading other users
• ·Your relationship or marital status where the omission is intended to deceive
• ·Your affiliation with another person, business, or organization

You may not use photographs of another person in a way that falsely represents that person as you.

Satire, humor, and playful profile content are permitted when they do not materially mislead others about who you are.

You agree not to use Project Red String to:

• ·Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse another person.
• ·Engage in, facilitate, promote, or support human trafficking, including sex trafficking, forced labor, or any other form of exploitation.
• ·Engage in, facilitate, promote, or support sexual exploitation, coercion, or abuse of any person.
• ·Aid, abet, encourage, organize, or knowingly enable abuse, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or other unlawful harm against another person.
• ·Engage in hateful or discriminatory harassment.
• ·Promote or threaten violence.
• ·Exploit, groom, sexualize, or endanger minors.
• ·Impersonate another person.
• ·Defraud or deceive users.
• ·Request money through fraudulent or manipulative means.
• ·Conduct romance scams or investment scams.
• ·Solicit cryptocurrency, gift cards, wire transfers, banking credentials, passwords, or other financial information through deceptive means.
• ·Distribute malware, malicious links, or harmful software.
• ·Collect personal information about users for unauthorized commercial, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• ·Dox, expose, or publish another person’s private information without authorization.
• ·Send spam or unauthorized advertising.
• ·Operate bots, scrapers, or automated accounts without our written permission.
• ·Circumvent blocking, suspension, moderation, or safety controls.
• ·Use Project Red String for illegal activity.
• ·Encourage another user to violate applicable law.
• ·Upload or distribute content you do not have the right to use.
• ·Share nonconsensual intimate imagery.
• ·Threaten to distribute intimate imagery.
• ·Use another person’s image or likeness deceptively.
• ·Engage in conduct that materially interferes with the operation or security of the service.

Meeting people online and offline involves risk.

Project Red String cannot perform a complete investigation of every user and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, background, criminal history, health, conduct, or safety of another person.

You are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when interacting with others.

Users are encouraged to:

• ·Keep early conversations on the platform when practical.
• ·Be cautious when someone quickly attempts to move communication elsewhere.
• ·Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, financial credentials, or account passwords to someone you met through the service.
• ·Protect home, workplace, and other precise location information.
• ·Meet in a public place when meeting someone for the first time.
• ·Tell a trusted person where you are going.
• ·Arrange your own transportation.
• ·Leave an interaction if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
• ·Report suspicious or abusive behavior.

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

“User Content” means content you submit, upload, send, publish, or otherwise make available through Project Red String, including photographs, biographies, profile responses, prompts, messages, reports, and other materials.

You retain ownership of User Content you own.

By submitting User Content to Project Red String, you grant Lavender Lane Virtual Services, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, moderate, improve, and support Project Red String.

This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and permit its use as described in these Terms.

You remain responsible for your User Content.

You may not upload, send, or distribute content through Project Red String that:

• ·Sexually exploits or endangers a minor.
• ·Contains child sexual abuse material.
• ·Contains nonconsensual intimate imagery.
• ·Threatens to distribute intimate imagery without consent.
• ·Promotes credible threats of violence.
• ·Is used for fraud or impersonation.
• ·Contains another person’s highly sensitive private information without authorization.
• ·Violates intellectual property or other legal rights.
• ·Contains malware or malicious code.
• ·Is otherwise unlawful.

Project Red String may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Project Red String may provide tools allowing users to report or block other users.

Blocking may limit or prevent interaction between accounts.

Reports may be reviewed by Project Red String for safety, policy enforcement, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

We may take action including:

• ·Issuing warnings.
• ·Restricting features.
• ·Removing content.
• ·Limiting account visibility.
• ·Suspending accounts.
• ·Terminating accounts.
• ·Preserving information where reasonably necessary for safety or legal purposes.
• ·Referring matters to appropriate authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary to address serious threats or unlawful activity.

We are not obligated to disclose confidential moderation methods, safety signals, reports, or internal decision-making information to another user except where required by law.

Project Red String prohibits the distribution or threatened distribution of nonconsensual intimate imagery.

Users may report potentially unlawful intimate imagery or related threats to:

Project Red String may provide additional reporting or removal procedures as required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Project Red String may provide messaging or similar communication features.

You are responsible for the content you send.

Messages should not be assumed to be absolutely private or confidential.

As described in our Privacy Policy, Project Red String may access, preserve, or review communications when reasonably necessary for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, technical support, enforcement, or legal compliance.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Project Red String Privacy Policy.

Your use of Project Red String is subject to both these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Project Red String and the materials provided by us through the service, including branding, graphics, software, interface elements, original written content, design elements, logos, and other proprietary materials, are owned by or licensed to Lavender Lane Virtual Services, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Project Red String intellectual property to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected Project Red String materials except as permitted by law or with our written authorization.

Nothing in these Terms claims ownership of ideas, facts, theories, historical events, public-domain material, or other material that cannot legally be owned by Project Red String.

Project Red String may depend on or link to third-party services, including hosting, authentication, infrastructure, email, storage, analytics, payment, or other providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

Project Red String is a growing service. New features, tools, and geographic areas may be introduced in testing, preview, or pilot form.

As the service grows:

• ·Features may be incomplete.
• ·Features may change.
• ·Bugs or interruptions may occur.
• ·Matching availability may be limited.
• ·User density may vary significantly by geographic area.
• ·Certain features may be added, removed, or redesigned.
• ·Test or demonstration functionality may be used internally.

Project Red String does not guarantee continuous availability of preview or experimental features.

Any simulated, demonstration, or test profiles made visible to public users must be clearly identified as simulated or demonstration content and must not be represented as genuine dating members.

Standard membership is free. Project Red String also offers an optional paid subscription, Inner Circle, at $6.99 USD per month, billed monthly until canceled.

You may cancel future renewals at any time through Manage billing. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

Before charging a user, we will disclose applicable pricing and material purchase terms.

We may introduce additional optional paid features, subscriptions, or services in the future, and additional terms may apply to them.

Project Red String will not charge a user for a paid feature unless the user has chosen to subscribe or purchase it.

You may stop using Project Red String at any time.

You may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy and available account controls.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary, including for:

• ·Violation of these Terms.
• ·Violation of Community Guidelines.
• ·Fraud or suspected fraud.
• ·Safety concerns.
• ·Harassment or abuse.
• ·Misrepresentation or impersonation.
• ·Illegal activity.
• ·Attempts to compromise the service.
• ·Repeated or serious misconduct.

Where appropriate, we may investigate before taking action.

Serious safety violations may result in immediate restriction or termination.

Project Red String is an evolving service.

We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that the service will operate without interruption or error.

We may perform maintenance, testing, security updates, or other changes that temporarily affect availability.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROJECT RED STRING IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

LAVENDER LANE VIRTUAL SERVICES, LLC DOES NOT MAKE WARRANTIES THAT:

• ·THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
• ·EVERY USER IS WHO THEY CLAIM TO BE.
• ·USER-PROVIDED INFORMATION IS ACCURATE.
• ·A MATCH OR COMPATIBILITY CLASSIFICATION WILL RESULT IN A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP.
• ·USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN ANY PARTICULAR NUMBER OR QUALITY OF CONNECTIONS.
• ·THE SERVICE CAN ELIMINATE ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH ONLINE OR OFFLINE DATING.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES OR RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE EXCLUDED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LAVENDER LANE VIRTUAL SERVICES, LLC AND PROJECT RED STRING WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF PROJECT RED STRING.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INDEPENDENT ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF USERS, INCLUDING CONDUCT OCCURRING OUTSIDE PROJECT RED STRING.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lavender Lane Virtual Services, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:

• ·Your unlawful use of Project Red String.
• ·Your material violation of these Terms.
• ·Your User Content.
• ·Your infringement or violation of another person’s rights.

This section does not require indemnification to the extent a claim results from conduct for which Project Red String is legally responsible.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute not subject to a legally required alternative forum may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms as Project Red String develops or as our practices or legal obligations change.

If changes are material, we may provide notice through Project Red String, email, or another reasonable method.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

The “Last Updated” date identifies the most recent version.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms that expressly apply to particular Project Red String features, constitute the agreement between you and Lavender Lane Virtual Services, LLC regarding your use of Project Red String.
