DOC. REP-001CONFIDENTIAL

Reporting & Blocking

PROJECT RED STRING

Project Red String is built around curiosity and respectful disagreement.

Harassment, scams, threats, stalking, impersonation, exploitation, and abuse are not part of the experiment.

1.When to Report

You may report conduct that you reasonably believe violates the Project Red String Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

Examples include:

  • ·Harassment.
  • ·Threats.
  • ·Stalking.
  • ·Impersonation.
  • ·Romance scams.
  • ·Financial fraud.
  • ·Sexual harassment or coercion.
  • ·Nonconsensual intimate imagery.
  • ·Threats to distribute intimate imagery.
  • ·Suspected underage users.
  • ·Doxxing or exposure of private information.
  • ·Attempts to evade blocking.
  • ·Other serious safety concerns.

2.How to Report

When in-app reporting controls are available, users should be able to report a profile or interaction from the relevant interface.

Safety reports may also be sent to:

projectredstring1124@gmail.com

Include enough information for Project Red String to understand the report.

Useful information may include:

  • ·The username or profile involved.
  • ·What happened.
  • ·Approximate date and time.
  • ·Relevant screenshots.
  • ·Relevant messages.
  • ·Why you believe there is a safety concern.

Do not place yourself in danger to collect evidence.

3.Blocking

Blocking is a personal safety and communication control.

A user may block another user because they:

  • ·Feel uncomfortable.
  • ·Do not want further contact.
  • ·Are being harassed.
  • ·Believe the account is suspicious.
  • ·Simply do not want to continue communicating.

A user does not need to prove misconduct before blocking someone.

When one user blocks another, the blocked user should not attempt to circumvent that block through another account or another person.

4.After a Report

Project Red String may review available information and determine what action is appropriate.

Possible outcomes include:

  • ·No action.
  • ·Warning.
  • ·Content removal.
  • ·Feature restrictions.
  • ·Visibility restrictions.
  • ·Temporary suspension.
  • ·Permanent termination.
  • ·Preservation of information where appropriate.
  • ·Referral to relevant authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary to address a serious safety threat.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.

5.Confidentiality

Project Red String may not be able to provide the reporting user with every detail of an investigation or enforcement decision.

Information may be limited to protect user privacy, platform security, safety processes, or legal obligations.

6.False Reports

Do not knowingly file false reports to retaliate against, intimidate, or punish another user.

A good-faith report that ultimately does not establish a violation is not automatically a false report.

7.Appeals

If your account is restricted or terminated and you believe the decision was made in error, contact:

projectredstring1124@gmail.com

Include identifying account information and a concise explanation of the issue.

An appeal does not guarantee reversal.

8.Emergencies

Project Red String is not an emergency service.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services first.
